Refund policy

30-day returns

You have 30 days from delivery to return an item, for any reason, change of mind included. This extends your 14-day legal right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Eligibility

Items must be unused (no marks on the blade), complete and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Items that cannot be returned for change of mind

Swords that have been engraved or custom-made to your specification are personalised goods and are excluded from the right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 28). They remain fully covered if they are faulty or not as described.

How to start a return

1. Email contact@tetsuren.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number.
2. We confirm the return and send you the return address and packing instructions.
3. Pack the sword in its saya and original box. Because it is a bladed article, it must be sent with a tracked, signed-for service; keep your proof of postage.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, return postage is at your own cost. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we cover return postage and you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These statutory rights are never affected by this policy.

Refunds

Once we have received and checked your return, your refund is issued within 14 days to your original payment method.
