Description
The Ghost Tachi Longsword is a high-performance sword designed for those who demand precision, durability and an imposing presence. With an overall length of 101 cm and a weight of 1.4 kg, it offers the ideal balance between reach and handling for collectors, outdoor enthusiasts and practitioners.
Made in SK5, the blade offers a reliable balance of toughness, durability and ease of maintenance. The properties of this steel make it equally suited to practical use and to long-term display.
The handle is made of G10 composite — a high-pressure fibreglass laminate offering excellent grip in wet or dry conditions. The stainless steel hardware ensures structural integrity and a modern aesthetic.
Supplied with a Kydex 2.0 scabbard, the Ghost Tachi Longsword is ready for carrying or display straight out of the box. The scabbard features reinforced retention and flexible attachment options.
Whether you are a first-time buyer or expanding your collection, the Ghost Tachi Longsword represents exceptional value — combining premium materials, functional design and high-quality construction.
Buying a sword in the UK
Sold only to adults aged 18 and over. Curved swords with a blade of 50 cm or more are hand-forged using traditional methods, as required by the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Offensive Weapons) Order as amended in 2008.
Carrying a bladed article in a public place without good reason is an offence. Transport your sword wrapped, and only for a legitimate purpose (dojo, re-enactment, collection). Rules may differ in Scotland.
Care
- Wipe the blade after every handling with a soft cloth; never touch it with bare fingers.
- Apply a thin film of oil every few weeks to prevent rust.
- Store it horizontally in its saya, edge up, away from damp.
- Use only on suitable practice targets (rolled tatami mats, bamboo); never strike hard objects.
