Description
The Bronze Fang Sword is a compact, striking blade designed for control and presence. With an overall length of 80 cm, a wide 5 cm blade and a balanced weight of 1.6 kg, it offers real presence in a short, manageable format.
Forged in 60Si2Mn spring steel, the blade is built to take heavy use. This shock-resistant alloy resists chipping and deformation where lesser steels would give way. A two-tone titanium plating gives the blade a dark, low-reflection body and a contrasting light edge, providing both corrosion resistance and a distinctive look.
The handle is made of G10 composite, a high-pressure fibreglass laminate recognised for its strength, durability and resistance to moisture and wear. Its textured surface holds firm in dry or wet conditions, while the 7075 aluminium and copper fittings reinforce the structure and underline the modern aesthetic.
The sword comes with a Kydex 2.0 scabbard in a carbon pattern, a sturdy, precision-moulded sheath designed for secure retention and practical carry, with multiple attachment eyelets for flexible configurations.
Produced in a limited run of 100 pieces, the Bronze Fang Sword is a distinctive compact sword combining modern materials, robust construction and a bold two-tone design.
Buying a sword in the UK
Sold only to adults aged 18 and over. Curved swords with a blade of 50 cm or more are hand-forged using traditional methods, as required by the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Offensive Weapons) Order as amended in 2008.
Carrying a bladed article in a public place without good reason is an offence. Transport your sword wrapped, and only for a legitimate purpose (dojo, re-enactment, collection). Rules may differ in Scotland.
Care
- Wipe the blade after every handling with a soft cloth; never touch it with bare fingers.
- Apply a thin film of oil every few weeks to prevent rust.
- Store it horizontally in its saya, edge up, away from damp.
- Use only on suitable practice targets (rolled tatami mats, bamboo); never strike hard objects.
