The Ichigo Zanpakutō 一護斬魄刀 Katana is a faithful, Bleach-inspired reproduction of the emblematic sword from the anime. Designed with precision and elegance, it captures the essence of Ichigo Kurosaki's legendary sword.
Blade: Forged in 1060 steel, the polished blade reveals a striking hamon, combining robustness and aesthetics. Perfect for display.
Guard (tsuba 鍔): The white rectangular alloy tsuba reflects the distinctive design of the anime, instantly recognisable to Bleach fans.
Scabbard (saya 鞘): Glossy white finish with attachment chain, true to the original look of the anime, while protecting the blade effectively.
Handle (tsuka 柄): The full white wrap over ray skin gives a firm grip and matches the minimalist, powerful style of the sword.
Dimensions: With a total length of 103 cm (40.6 in), a blade of 71 cm (28.0 in), a handle of 27 cm (10.6 in) and a blade width of 3.2 cm (1.3 in), this katana respects the balance and proportions worthy of a true Zanpakutō.
Whether for collectors, anime fans or practitioners of Japanese martial arts, the Ichigo Zanpakutō Katana is an exceptional piece and a must for any collection.
Buying a sword in the UK
Sold only to adults aged 18 and over. Curved swords with a blade of 50 cm or more are hand-forged using traditional methods, as required by the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Offensive Weapons) Order as amended in 2008.
Carrying a bladed article in a public place without good reason is an offence. Transport your sword wrapped, and only for a legitimate purpose (dojo, re-enactment, collection). Rules may differ in Scotland.
Care
- Wipe the blade after every handling with a soft cloth; never touch it with bare fingers.
- Apply a thin film of oil every few weeks to prevent rust.
- Store it horizontally in its saya, edge up, away from damp.
- Use only on suitable practice targets (rolled tatami mats, bamboo); never strike hard objects.
