DESCRIPTION
The Lionheart Longsword is a tribute to the legendary knights and their unshakeable courage. Its wide fuller and double-edged blade provide both strength and agility, while the brown leather-wrapped handle gives a secure and comfortable grip with every movement.
The guard and pommel, forged in bright stainless steel, are completed by a hand-stitched leather scabbard, richly detailed in the medieval style. From the lion crest on the guard to the refined stitching along the scabbard, every element reflects the spirit of chivalry and royal valour.
Buying a sword in the UK
Sold only to adults aged 18 and over. Curved swords with a blade of 50 cm or more are hand-forged using traditional methods, as required by the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Offensive Weapons) Order as amended in 2008.
Carrying a bladed article in a public place without good reason is an offence. Transport your sword wrapped, and only for a legitimate purpose (dojo, re-enactment, collection). Rules may differ in Scotland.
Care
- Wipe the blade after every handling with a soft cloth; never touch it with bare fingers.
- Apply a thin film of oil every few weeks to prevent rust.
- Store it horizontally in its saya, edge up, away from damp.
- Use only on suitable practice targets (rolled tatami mats, bamboo); never strike hard objects.
