Buying a sword in the UK
Sold only to adults aged 18 and over. Curved swords with a blade of 50 cm or more are hand-forged using traditional methods, as required by the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Offensive Weapons) Order as amended in 2008.
Carrying a bladed article in a public place without good reason is an offence. Transport your sword wrapped, and only for a legitimate purpose (dojo, re-enactment, collection). Rules may differ in Scotland.
Care
- Wipe the blade after every handling with a soft cloth; never touch it with bare fingers.
- Apply a thin film of oil every few weeks to prevent rust.
- Store it horizontally in its saya, edge up, away from damp.
- Use only on suitable practice targets (rolled tatami mats, bamboo); never strike hard objects.

A bit of "anxiety" because of the delay between order and dispatch. However, a customer service that listens. Delivery spot on.

Hello, I received this superb katana, thank you, I find it exceptional. It is very understated, but its simplicity is what makes it beautiful. It cuts a sheet of paper like it's nothing, it is very well sharpened. Handle with care.

The sword is magnificent. However, I am very disappointed because I ordered it with the wooden box as it was a Christmas present for my son, and the box arrived with both locks broken. For the price of the product, I find this unacceptable! Kind regards, Gladys Masson
Melodie L.
Beautiful sword, but the finishing needs work, especially on the handle.
Renan A.
Perfect sword and my son loved his birthday present.
Jeanlouis R.
Very beautiful katana.

Excellent, only flaw: the inside of the scabbard leaves sticky deposits.
